PETONE MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. E. Page, S.M., presided over the sitting of the Petone Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. For failing to attend parades, S. J. Syinpns and C. Uren were each fined 20s. and 7s. costs. The Inspector of Awards proceeded against George Hall for failure to sinu the holiday hook when employed- at the Victoria Hotel. A fine of ss. was imposed without costs. ■ Mrs. itose, of Korokoro, proceeded against Mrs. Meade, for. alleged assault/ Plaintiff asked that' defendant bo bound over to keep the peace. Tho Magistrate held that both parties were to blame in a quarrel which had taken place, mid as there was not sufficient evidence to order defendant -to find sureties, the case was dismissed.
