■THE CITY OP WINCHESTER. The City of Winchester, which arrived at Auckland Jruiri New lorison Tuesday, is a, comparatively new vessel, and is on lior raaide.:, visit to those waters. York to load general cargo for New Zealand, bho is a.cruiser-stern vessel of 7981 tons, and n cargo-carrying capacity of 11,250 tons. Sho is insulated ih two of her six holds, and has a Bpeed of about 12 knotß. New York was left on AuriisL 8, general cargo having • been laden. ■ En route to the Panama 2750 tons of .coal were loaded tor the -Now Zealand Government. Panama was cleared on August I?, and fair weather experienced on tho run across tne Pacific. Tho City, of Winchester has 5800 tonsot cargo for Now Zealand, 17C5 tons being for Auckland. WESTRALIA FROM SYDNEY. After an over .eighteen months, from Auckland the Huddart-Parker pas. senger steamer Wostralia arrived at Auckland again on Wednesday morning with passengers and cargo. Her usual service is the Wellington-Melbourne- via tho Blufl run •' but was considerably disorganised by the' influenza epidemic and tho strike, During tho latter *8 was laid np for about throe at Melbourne, ana this is her first trip acroßs the Tasman since the resumption of activities. The passenger steamer Mokoia is due tomorrow from ' Auckland, via way ports, and will sail again in tho evening for Lyttelton and Duuedin. An expected arrival to-morrow is tho East Coast packet Kahu, which will Bail the same day for the Soundß to receivo a cargo of posts for tho East-Coast. The Kahika is due on Saturday from New Plymouth, and will return again op Monday. • Duo to arrive on Saturday from Dunedin (he Rosamond will sail again on Monday for Lyttelton. Due to-morrow from Napier tho Kuru is lo take in a' load of coke for the East Coast port, and will sail on Mondp.y next. Due to-morrow from Westport with coal the Katoa will dischargo a portion of her cargo here, and will' take tho remainder on to Auckland early next week. The collier Kowliai left port lant night for Westport to load coal for Lyttelton. The East .Coast packet Ripple is to go on the patent slip to-morrow for overhaul, which is expected to occupy about .ten days.
