Uargh (Mount Peel), Arthur Proud (Teimika), Lauchlin liaiiiv (Temuka), kobc-rt Ilutton (Otipua). . ' Successful, applicants for the Beach Settlement were: D. Beatty (Mntaiiiait), W. Hobson (Christehurch), E, J. Powell (East Oxford), C. Gilhaml (Oamnru), J. T. Brimsey (Bennetts), T. M'Cormacfc (Christehurch), W. T. Scott (Tomuka).
