Miss Agnes Laut; a journalist who was investigating Mexican affairs, waa a witness before the Senate Committee innuiring into conditions in Mexico, ana made an appeal for American women who had been carried oft by bandits and tortured. Ono American fanner waa tied to a tree and stabbed until .he became insaue. The women captives were at the mercy of the bandits. Mexican troops were equally guilty .-Aus.- b.i. Cable Aeen.
