All of them'ask that the uia'oticn be made an oriKiinal offence.
Siuttrintendoiit Dwy.er,' of Chtistchuroh, has this to say regarding bicycle thiovinar:—"l would again diw attention to tho necessity for applying: the provisions of the Second-hand Dealers- Act to all bicvclc-doalcrs, as the traffic that is carried on bv somo of tlwso dealers in stolen bicvcles iij becoming a very serious matter, and it would materially help tho polico in their work, of prevention and detection if bicycle-dealers had to obtain a license in tho same manner that second-linnd dealers have to do, and keep a book in which all bicycles bought or eschaneed were recorded. ;
