ENDEAVOURING TO CONCEAL ILLEGITIMACY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, September 15. At tho Police Court Albert Bernard Anderson was charged with making a false declaration of birth and a false declaration of death. It. was stated that accused married in IMS Blanche Ivy Hunt, but was separated in 1910. Ho had not seen 'his wife since 1912, and lived with Charlotte Delauey until sho died in 1918. Ho registered the death as that of Blanche Ivy Anderson, as ho did not wish to state that the deceased was not his wife. Two children were born during the time ho and Delauey lived together, and each had been registered under the name of Anderson, so that tho illegitimacy might be concealed. Accused pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence.
