AUSTRALIAN TEAM'S VISIT. lly Telercrnoh—Prons Association. Christchurch, September 15. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Cricket Council to-night a letter was read from tlio Marlborough Association suggesting that ns it was not possible for every association to have a match during the Australian team's visit, it might bo desirable to group two or more districts. A South Island match at Christchurch, in which some of the best players from the smaller associations would be included, might also be desirable.

Mr. A. E. Cohen, Duncdin, wrote suggesting a visit from tho A.I.P. team, winch would shortly return to Australia. It wns decided to invito tho A.I.F. team to visit Now Zealand.
