SENIOR CADETS

At the parade last evening of 30/35 Company (Wellington Technical College), Lieutenant-Colonel W. N. B. Thorns, D.5.0., M.C., presented the ladies' challenge cup and medals to tho best 6hot in the company (musketry course), the challenge cup and medals presented bv the late Mr. John Duthie, tho prizes'" won at tho recent peaco colobration tournament, and the n.c.o. certificates to those who had passed the recent examination, and bndges for tho marksmen of tho company. Lieutenant-Colonel Thorns, in making tho presentations,, congratulated tho company on tho excellence of the parade, and tho members on their very 'good record; thoy were known as a company of sports, and he folt sure that they had lived up to their reputation and "played the game." Ho also emphasised tho fact that they should study musketry, tho necessity of which was 6hown through tho recent war, and hoped that every cadet would endeavour to be a prize-winner this year. .Lieutenant Ruck was in charge of tho parade, and with him wcro Lieutenants Crane and Brodie.
