BIG CUNARD BUILDING PROGRAMME
(Rec. September 14, 5.5 p.m.) London, September 12. The Cunard Company is building ships aggregating over half a million tons in order to compete ivith the United States. Several orders have already been placed for vessels 'averaging 20,000 gross' tons. The ships will bo equipped for burning oil fuel.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
