Three" more candidates have announced their intention of standing for the ltotorua seat "at the forthcoming elections. Thcso are Messrs. Banks, Education Board chairman; Keegan, Farmers' Union delegate; and Larney, a returned soldier. None of these candidates has as yet announced to which party he belongs. Mr. G, M'Kay has been selected as the Liberal candidate for the Hawke's Bay seat at the general elections. / The opening shot.of the general election campaign will be fired in the Sydney. Street Hall to-morrow evening, when Mr. J. Read, the official Labour candidate for Wellington North, will address tho electors. Mr. If. E. Holland, J1.P.,. chairluan of the Labour group in Parliament, will also address, the meeting.
