Owing to Hie waterside workers at Auckland refusing to unload the Fiona's cargo of 4530 tons of sugar until a new crew has been signed on the vessel to replace her present non-unionist crew, , 'she has been dispatched to Sydney to.dis--1 charge her cargo there. This will cause' a further shortage of sugar in New Zealand, as the Fiona was to have returned to Fiji-fur more sugar after the discharge of 'lier present load. The PaJoona lias just completed the discharge of 2000 tons of sugar aero, and has gone to Fiji for " . another lload. Tho.Atua is due to-day ' with 2000 tons, and that, with the Paloona's next load; is all the sugar in gight at present. :
