Excellent progress has been mado by the ltobert Burns Club since Its iiiauguration a few mouths ago. Already it lias a largo and enthusiastic membership, and is doing much to preserve and foster the lovo of Scottish minstrelsy in Wellington. The most ambitions cilort of tho club will be made 011 Wednesday, September 24, when a grand Burns concert will bo given .in the Town Hall. For this occasion many of the best-known vocalists and musicians. of Wellington have been engaged, and no effort will be spared to ma to the coneert one truly representative of Burns and worthy of his memory. A souvenir brochure will be given to each patron of the concert.
