There was a satisfactory attendance at the nnninil meeting of the Brougham Hill Tenuis Club last evening. Mr. G. M. Goklio occupied the chair. A woCcomo was extended to members returned from .i*tive service, and a silent voto was pawed in memory of those who had fallen. The opening day was fixed for September 'Si. A combined Yankee tournament is to be tendered to the Indies of the club on October i, ns a token of appreciation for their attention to the afternoon teas during the winter months. A feature of the meeting was the number of Indies who spoke. A keen discussion look place on the fntuie of the club, and it is osne-cted that in the next few weeks the membership will reach its full limit. Officer? were elected as follow-.—Presi-dent. Hon. .T.
