PROTEST AGAINST CHILD LABOUR

Christchurch, September 11. . At a meeting of dairymen held at Aldington saleviutls. the following motion was carried unanimously, to be forwarded to the Minister of. Education and the Minister of Internal Affairs: "That this meeting of dairymen is strongly of the opinion that legislation is necessary to prohibit the employment of child labour on milk earns and other similar employments necessitating rising at unduly early hours, until the children havo finished their education at State schools.
