TROOPSHIP ELLENGA AT AUCKLAND

The transport Ellenga arrived to-day with troops from Egypt; The Elleuga deft Suez on July 23, tho troops being brought from Ismaiha by special train. "There \va9 no one to see us off," said' \ one trooper, "except the embarkation officer and one member of tho R.A.IY' Tho only remaining New Zealand troops in Egypt are six men under command of Lieutenant-Colonel Chaytor, and these were lloft behind to clear up tho Headquarters of tho N.Z.E.F. The vessel made a call at Colombo, and TOO men were taken on a visit to Kimdy by special .train.
The Ellenga is due at Wellington at' noon on Saturday. Tho following arrangements have been made for the transport of tho troops from tho vessel: New Plymouth and Wangnnui men sail from Onehunga by the Rarawa at 3 p.m.'' to-day. Men for Gisborno go by local boat sailing from Auckland at noon tomorrow. Details for places • between Taumaninui, Pahuerston North, Mnrton, and Wangamii depart from Auckland by the 7 a.m. ordinary- train to-day. petals for stations between Napier, Wairarapa, Wellington City, and South Island proceed pei\ Ellenga for Wellington. Details for stations between Wellington, Palmerston North, and Napier depart from Thorndon Station at 8 a.m. on Monday. Napier details detrain at Palmerston North and go per the 2 p.m. train on the same day. Details for tho Wairarapa, leave Lambton Station at 8 a.m. on Monday.
If tho Ellenga 'connects,, details for Christchurch city and south of Westport will leave Wellington by the Moriowai at 7.15 p.m. to-morrow. ' Details for south, of Canterbury, Otago, and Southland, will leave Wellington by the Maori at 7.45 p.m. on Monday. . Detail for north of Westport, Nelson, Picton, and Blenheim will sail by the Pateena at 12.45 p.m. on Monday. ' If the Ellenga, does not connect with the south boat on«-Saturday, details for the South Island will sail from Wellington by the Maori on, Monday evening. Mea remaining-in Wellington'over tho week-end will be billeted on the transport until Monday morning.
