At the Petono West School flt noon on Wednesday a boy naaied Norman Ashman, whoso parents reside in Gear Street, Potono, collided with anotherlad. Ashman was knocked down, and, in a semi-consciou3 state, was removed to his home, whore he was attended by tho local doctor. The boy proved to bo B-affering from slight, concussion, but it was seated yesterday that he was making a good recovery. , A MILITARY TEST OF "PLUVOL." Jlajor T. M'Cristoll. N.Z.S.C., Camp Qunrtermaster at Trentham, recently inado a rigorous test of "Pluvol." Here is the report:—"One pair of boots, after treatment with Pluvol, put in water (5 pints) at i p.m. and taken out at 7 p.m. samo day. Quantity of water absorbed —nil."
