"GOODY TWO SHOES" PANTOMIME. Something like a record was established yesterday at the Bristol in tho way of advanced hooking, when the plans for tho J. C. Williamson pantomimo wcro opened. More than usual interest is bc- ' ing shown in the forthcoming season of "Goody Two Shoes" pantomime, which, will bo seen hero for tho first timo tomorrow night, at 7.30. Tho cast includes Miss Madeline Harrison, an artist from tho principal New York theatres, who will appear as "Goody ; Miss Dorothy Hastings, another artist of a very hi"h reputation in light opera and burlesquo work; Miss Toby Claude, one of tlio most popular comediennes in America; Miss Maude Gray a singer of rare charm and beauty; Maggio Dickinson, the popular dancer; also Mr. Arthur Sti■>ant tho beau ideal of pantomime "Dames"; Mr. Herbert Walton, a comedian from 'Ifrnry Lane, London; Lou [Vernon, Gus Bluett, Kelso Henderson, land Sydney Yates. A host of attractions of extraordinary interest will include the following:-Fl'cd AValton, in his extraordinary specialty, "Tho 'toy Soldier, presented by him during the last fourteen years at the loading English and American theatres, said to bo a remarkable exhibition of pantomimic efficiency. Jewel's Marionette Circus, ini traducing a distinct novelty in "Cncuti Day in Toyland," and one of the greatest of all "pantomimo acts, the famous acrobatic comedians, the Kcnna. brothers, in their world-famed specialty. "By Aeroplane to the North Pole." Besides these star features, there are no fewer than ten beautiful and artistic ballets, 19 different scenes, and over ; 100 people con ; corned in this important production, which, according to Australian contemporaries, easily outvies anything for a deeado in the pantomimo direction that the bi? firm has presented in Australia and New Zealand. The special features also include tho famous "Mysterious Tent," tho Livthff Tableaux, the "Magic Bubble," and the beautiful "Kirchner Ballet." Tho' box plans for the first six nights and first two matinees nro now ooen at the Bristol. A special treat is provided for children at tue nintinces. Wo have to acknowledge from the Bristol Pinno Company tho receipt of a ropv of a song by May Braki (words by Helen Taylor), entitled "I Passed by Your Window." Tho song, which is ono of five "Song Pictures," hus~n sweet and simple melody, easily 6unn (by soprano or tenor preferably), capable of _ delicate treatmont in a purely lyric vein. Tho song is obtainable in four keys, and is likely to bo as popular hero aa it is In England.
