' , .1 PAYMENT OF CAPITATION MONEY. Bi. Telegraoh—Press Association. Whakatane, September 4. The Returned Soldiers' Association, at a-inoetinor at Taneatua last evening, passed the following resolution:—"That this association, having viewed the situation in rocard to the deadlock over the payment of capitation money from the Dominion Executive to the Auckland District Committee, regrets (hat tho matter has been made public, and considers that mistakes have been made on both sides, huh tho Dominion Executive acted in what is considered the best interests of returned soldiers' organisations jenerallv." Tho meeting also decided to support the reauest for a commission of ianuirv into the administration of patriotic funds.
