JIEETING OF COMMITTEE. Mr. ,T. W. M'Ewan (Mcyor of Potonc) presided over a mee'.iug of tho Petouc War Memorial Committee last evening. Tim various members who hail been collecting reported having received various amounts. The secretary of the Petono Football Club wrote in reply to a rcque;t that a footlw.ll match be played in aid of the memorial fund, agreeing to play a senior match with the llutt team at a darn In be fixed. It; was decided to arrange for a concert in aid of the fund to bo' hold in about six weeks' lime, and a sub-committee was annotated to arrange details.
