CRISIS IN AUSTRALIA'S MEAT TRADE,: Sytlnoy, September 4. Tho Shipping Controller states that no further shipping space is obtainable for frozen meat. Tho Space Allotment .Committee carried forward on July 31 3,285,000 tons of wliitft, 1,320,000 bales of wool, 50,000 tons of meat, 23,000 tons of rabbits and, 60,000 tons of other piditiicc. ' Tho merchants are .applying to tho Necessary Commodities Commission for an increase in the proclaimed price of maize, oats, and chaffi—Press -Assn.
