Friend Society ou Tuesday evening, when the pcrfonnors were: Mrs. <3its lit, Miesis Hill, Nielsen, J. Lewis, and Messrs. Martin (Opawa), A. Tomlin, P. Archer, 11. 0. Stone (Opawa), Grant, O'Connor (Durham). Mrs. Grant and Mr. Archer ivero at the piuno. Mr. Moore, ' inisjioocr, was in tho chair, and spoke on "Why Leading Men Become T.T.'s." Pledges followed. Much spirit was infused into tho competitions. The prizes •crime from the hostess and Miss Ml.
