MUCH EXAGGERATED. (Rec. September 4, 1.10 a.m.) Vancouver, September 2. A Seattle journalist, arrived from the Orient, says that t'no Americans havo greatly exaggerated Iho Korean troubles. After investigation ho found that the difficulty amounted to no moro than tlio riots witnessed in tlio cities of America, w'lion the rioters wero clubbed into submission by the police. Tlio trouble reallv amounted to passive resistance bv the Koreans, and tlio Japanese retaliated, with (lie result, that a number were killed.—Router.
