It was alleged that accused started as a gniin brokci in Dunedin in April, 1915, first paying for small consignments, and later ordering large consignments, and selling tncni on his own account. He was arrested m Auckland. Other clmrges were pending relative to transactions m wore, lnvercnrgill, Ashburton, and Oamaru.
