A ROYAL RENUNCIATION.
. $ KING EMMANUEL OF ITALY SETS AN EXAMPLE. (Rec. September 2, 7.30 p.m.) . London, September 1. The King of Italy has renounced all tho royal domains for the benefit of the peasantry and Boldiers, and aleo six of his finest palaces, parks, and villas for' disabled men.'and war orphans. He will also renounce tho buildings attached to the Crown Hands in favour of institutions for succouring war sufferers. Tho King has resolved that his private patrimony shall be subjected to taxation, nnd will continue to dispense .£BOOO to the poor as formerly.
