FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT i P.M. YESTERDAY. ['resent Indications are for Buuth-xvest windß, strong to gale, and unsettled, squally weather. Heavy showers may bo expected generally, and further snow w tiio high country and also in parts of the, East Coast district of the South Island. Barometer rising soon. A disturbance is centred off the East Coast of the South Island, and strong westerly and southerly winds now prevail. Unsellcd conditions have predominated with rain in many parts, and snow has fallen to-day in the southernmost districts and on the higher lavfla of the tiouih Island E. V.
