He said that-tlie •reports showed tliat all h'otels in the -Wellington district had been well conducted during the last quarter, and .that •the committee was wellipleased with this state of affaire. .. .. ~ Transfers of-licenses were confirmed as under:—Princess Hotel, from James Ellery to F> J.-Foley; Dominion Hotel, A. A. 'iHolbroolc to Alice Herdman; Jfetropolitah Hotel,'H. R. Wallace to 11. Richards; Clyde Quay Hotel, Edith Carris: to W., R.'- Morse. . ~ 'The..committee 'also granted Mrs. C. J. ..DiiiTant. permission --.to. carry on as licensee of , the New. Commercial. Hotel during the coming quarter ,on the same conditions as were laid down at the last meeting of the committee.
