Towards the end of tho lirst spell, ILawko's Bay, hehded by Laud, put up a determined attack. A pass to Jacobsen enabled tho latter to find the net. In the second half a penalty in the circle gavo Canterbury an opening, and ii scramble ended in Throp pushing the 'tall into tho net. Soon afterwards a fine pass by Patrick enabled Holland to register .1 second goal for Canterbury.
