ARMENIAN MASSACRES
PRESIDENT WILSON CALLS ON TURKEY TO END THEII. (Roc. August 29, 7.30 p.m.) London, August' 27. According to dispatches from Athens,. President Wilson has sent the Turkish Government a telegram summoning Turkey to end the Armenian massacres, and threatening otherwise to cancel points two 'and fourteen, guaranteeing the maintenance, of the Ottoman sovereignty in purely -Turkish regions—Renter. WARNING SANCTIONED BY STATE DEPARTMENT. Washington, August 28. It is announced that; Admiral Bristol's warning to Turkey was issued with the sanction of the Sjtate Department.—AusN.Z. Cable Assn.
