Arthur Shrumpski, an' engine-driver, aged JS, single, was found dead in bod at Orepuki with a shot wound through his heart. A. rifle lay on the floor containing an empty cartridge case. The man lived alone. A rat's fail is a wonderful piece of Nature's handiwork. There arc more muscles in it than in I lie human hand. .It is made up of' a'chain of small bones and a multitude of muscles, which make it as prohensilo as a monkey's.
