METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION. London, August 27. Mr. C. A. M'Curdy has begun tin administration of tho Profiteering Act. He has secured, expert representatives ol.' employers and workmen to inquire into tho producing costs of several industries, including boots,' clothes, • underwear,household utensils, and necessaries. The object is not to fix prices or institute prosecutions, but to publish facts for 'public information.
