In connection with tho public mdignatiou meeting at Palraeraton, Dr. Farris. assistant health officer, Wellington pnid a visit to the Campbell Street School yesterday and made a thorough inspection of the 'class rooms, conveniences, and grounds, and made copious notes, which it i> hoped will result in something being done for this institution. The health officer, who was accompanied by Mr. M. O'Brien, the local inspector for thoHealth Department, entered the school unannounced end was shown over the buildings by Mr. liyder, the headmaster, none of the committee having an opportunity to bo present.
