WAISTCOATS SCARCE
A remarkable feature in cQnnection with the dotting industry is the great shortage of vests, says the Morning Post,." This is accounted for by the fact that the efforts of the trade during the later period of the war wero mainly devoted to the production of the more important garments supplied to the Army. The Ministry of Munitions has now arranged for tho sale of considerable quantities of part-worn garments, which include 11,000 drab and 22,000 bluo waistcoats. There are also about 10,000 khaki overctiaW dyed blue, and these, with the waistcoats, will bo disposed of by tender.
