August 28, 0.25 a.m.) 11 Paris, August 'p. _ It is oemi-oflicially stated that it. i« understood that Italy is willing to accept a compromise .on the Fiuine question, under which the town will go to Italy while the League of Nations will lease the free port of Fiume, together .with another port for ninety-nine years, and also control the railways.
