THE CAPTURE OF ODESSA
By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright Washington, August 26. Denikin's advance is progressing with great rapidity.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. (Eec. August 27, 8.10 p.m.) London, August 2G. A War Offico communique states that General Denikin's advance is continuing rapidly all along the line. A detachment of volunteers landed o.t Odessa after a two days' bombardment, and drove the Bolsheviki north-westward, in tho direction of Baltn. The volunteers are rapidly progressing along both banks of the Dnieper towards Kieif. It is reliably reported that the Bolsheviki throughout the Ukraine are completely demoralised.—Aus.-N.Z. RUSSIAN PRISONERS FROM GERMANY SENT TO THE FRONT. London, August 2fi.
