ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
MAN'S SKULL FRACTURED. . At 4.50 p.m. yesterday John Dobson. a labourer, employed by the Blackball Coal Company, was knocked down by a motor-car, driven by Mrs. A. N. U'lllianis, of Palmerston North, at the junction of Tory and Vivian Streets. Constable Hunt took Dobson to the hospital, where Dr. Little examined him and found that ho was Buffering from a fracture to the base of the sluill. D bson is a single man mid 47 years of age. Ho was staying at Young's boardmghouse, Lambtou Quay.
