INFLUENZA IN WANGANUI DISTRICT
NO SEVERE'CASES. By Telegraph.— Special Correspondent. Wanganui, August 27. According to medical opinion there are no severe influenza cases in the Wanganui district- at present, though there is a certain amount of ordinary influenza and ordinary pneumonia about. Doctors state that many of those who had influenza last year are "nervy" because they are at present suffering from severe colds. At. the same time they recommended the Hospital Board to-<lay to take no risks, but to have the town blocked and every precaution taken in the event of a recrudescence. The board decided to act accordingly.
