The passengers included thirty-three officers and twenty-four men of the Royal Irish, returning 'to Cologne after a pilgrimage to Lourdos. The British contingent were uninjured, and did fine rescue work. Ten passengers were killed and twenty injured, and there wereterrible'sufferings under the wreck-age.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
