ITS MACHINERY IN PRACTIOE. London, August 24. The Board of Trade aimoitnoes, .that, the Profiteering Act will be administered by: , (1) A central committee, representing the Government, chambers of commerce, tlio employers, the employees, trades unions, and 00-qperative eooieties, which committee will investigate the costs and profits of the manufacturers and whole(2) Local committees, appointed by tho municipal councils, to investigate spocilia complaints against retailers. (3) An'appeal tribunal in each county, appointw by the Board _of Trade, to hear appeals from the decisions of tho local oommittees—Aus.-N.Z. Oable Assn.
