PROTECTION AGAINST DUMPING
LEGISLATION BY THE HOME GOVERNMENT. London, August 23. In reference to Mr. Lloyd. George's statement in Parliament on the subject of the' Government's trade policy, the Board of Trade announces that legislation will be introduced in tho autumn for the protection of goods manufactured in Britain and Ireland against dumping, by taking power to prevent tho sale in Great Britain of similar goods beneath their price in tho country of origin, ana to enable the Board of Trade, to check any flood of .imparts that might ariso from tho collapse of exchange.—Reuter.
