Tho W.F.C.A., Ltd., Dannevirke, in conjunction with, tho flawke's flay Farmers, report having held a most successful salo of dairy stock at To Kehunga on August 19, on account of Mr. E. A. .Davenport. The dairy herd, which' comprised mostly high-grade Jerseys, was well and favourably known and in oxcellent condition. Competition was keen throughout, the top price beini: £38, this price being paid for a high-grade Jersey cow coming to third calf, which so far constitutes a record for tho district. Tho herd of 25 cowb made the good averago of £23 lis. per head. The rising two-year-old springing grade Jersey hoifers wore also a good lot, selling up to £21 sa.
