. PRESENTATION.OP AWARDS. During the annual ball of tlie Wellington Fire Brigade and Volunteer. -Fiio Police, held at the Concert Chamber < n Friday evening, the Mayor, Mr. J. PLuke accompanied by Mrs. and -Miss Lukej presented awards to numbers of tlie brigade. Ho spoke of tho lino work of this body of men, and expressed 10gret at the absent of Captain Wright, of the Fire l'olicv, who has recently boon seriously ill.
