SAWMILL EMPLOYEE INJURED. (By Telegraph.-Spccial Correspondent.) Carterton, August 22. Albert Moore, a yumig married man with two children, employed at Ratiibone's Kahutara Sawmill, had his right •hand completely severed above the paim, leaving the thumb, this morning. Work had only just l.:egun, and Moore was in the act of turning oil' the water when tho sleeve of his jumper was caught by the revolving machinery, bringing his hand in contact with a circular saw. Tte patient was taken to the South Wairarapa Hospital, and is doing as well as can be exuocted.
