KELBURN BOY SCOUTS
ANNUAL MEETING. The tenth annual meeting of parents onl supporters of the Kelburn Boy Scouts was held last evening in the clubhouse, Kelburn. Mr. T. W. Martin, the chairman of the committee, presided. The annual report and balance-sheet (already published) were submitted, and in moving the adoption of same the chairman said that they had passed through a trjlng time, for they very nearly lost their clubhouse. They were not out of the wood yet, for they had only a twelve months' lease. He thought tho troublo had done them good, for it had brought parents and Scouts together, He thought the scoutmaster was to bo congratulated on tho year's work, and (he brilliant prospects of the future. '.Scoutmaster E. Lawson referred at some length (o the advantages of establishing the Scout Hovers,, and ho thought tho scheme would prove successful. Ho touched on the mattor of camps and'assured the parents that their boys were well cared for at the camps.
The following were .re-elected members of the committee:—Mr. T. W. Martin, J. Darling, At. I'raser, I'. li. Grant, 0, K. Lawrence, E. T. Norris, li. H. Webb, A. K. Whyte, P. E. Wright, G. B. N. Wright, and 11. young. Mr. Beauchamp Plaits was appointed-honorary auditor.
