The Seamen's Union passed a resolution that the Federal Council be instructed to attend a rotwid-the-ta'ble conference, and to insist on the four cardinal points being granted before coming to a final arrangement.—Press Assn. NO SETTLEMENT YET. - (Rec. August 21, 10.30 p.m. Syeney, August 21. The seamen's meeting reached no settlement, but instructed the delegates to proceed to 'Melbourne to inform Senator Milieu that (lie men had agreed to the conference decisions which had been filed with the Arbitration Court.
