SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

A concert was given by the members of the Island May Glee Club at the Sailors' Friend Society on Tuesday. The men wero delighted with every item. The club ivus insisted by Mrs. Cox, tho Misses Weston, Ilodsoji, and V. Mueller, and Messrs. Barnes, llerron, and Oswin. Mrs. Cox and Mr. Allen wore at the piano. Mr. Moore, missioner, occupied the diair, and his temperanco address was on "Camouflaged," and following the addross pledges were taken by the men. Prizes for the competitions came from Miss \ T . Mueller and Karori. A hearty voto or thanks was passed to the performers.
