Competition was lceen, and prices well up to late rates at the commencomont and firmer towards the conclusion. Primo bullocks, .£25 ss. to 12s. 6d.; medium to good, JJIS lfls. to .-C22; light and unfinished, .£ls to £17 as.; primo hoife.i's, t £ls 10s. to ,£lB 15a.! medium to good, <£12 15s. to ,£11'153.; light and aged, i! 10 10s. to ifill 10s. Fat sheep (1500 penned): There were only a few pens.of prime heavy, the majority being medium quality. Prime advanced 55., and medium about 2s. Gd., and inferior Is. to Is. Gd., compared with last week, but prices fell away somewhat towards the finish. Extra primo wethers, 655. to 725. 6d.; prime, 555. to 625.; medium to good, 465. Gd. to 525.; light and unfinished, 3fs. to 38s. Only a few pens of ewes were offered, realising 30s. to 375. 9d. A small yarding of pigs met a ready sale, at an advance on late rates.
