The remainder of the day was occupied in hearing a claim bv William Richard Home, carpenter, New Plymouth. against William Stubbs, labourer, for execution of a transfer of a section of land as part payment for the purchase of a half-share in the auxiliary launch Norseman, which was wrecked before, the transfer was completed, or in lieu .£IOO damages. The defendant put in a counter-claim for .£l5O, alleging fraudulent misrepresentation.
