LANDING AT HALIFAX. New York, August 18. The Halifax correspondent of tho New York "Times" states that the Prince ot Wales lauded at the spot where his grandfather, King Edward VII_., in 1880, and his father landed m 1901. British, French; and Italian warships in the harbour fired a salute. The Princo visited t.Uo part of tho city devastated by the gTeat explosion in December, 1917. . Addresses from the Governments ot Nova Scotia and Halifax were presented to tho Prince.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
