The removal of the restrictions on investments abroad is likely to result in the early establishment of utnv industries in Australia and New Zealand. Bankers and financiers have received numerous iuquiries, especially since tho armistice, from British manufacturers regarding tho possibilities of opening in Australasia, but hitherto the restrictions have precluded such action. Several prominent Australasian business men are now in England in furtherance of this object.— Aus.-N.JS. Cable Assn.
