The Marlborough Union wrote asking for a representative •team from Wellington to play tho Marlborough fifteen at Blenheim. It was decided to send a team to Marlborough on August 30. Mascot and Petone fourth-class teams nre to meet at Petone on Saturday, and tho winner will play Oriental in town tho following Saturday. The are to be asked to nominations to the North Island selectors of Wellington players for the North Is'and team.

The Marist Brothers Old Boys team were grunted permission to play the Wanganui Mnrist Brothers team at Athletic Park on September (!, as a curtain-raiser to the WeUington-Tannuiki representative match.
